Dr. Wilke graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She worked at a small animal practice in West Des Moines, Iowa, until 2011, when she acquired the Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center.
In 2008, Dr. Wilke received her acupuncture training from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). She completed her internship and published her case report to earn her certification in veterinary acupuncture in 2011.
Each year, she dedicates numerous hours to continuing education classes to update her knowledge. She frequently lectures at colleges and local and public events. Dr. Wilke enjoys spending time with her two wonderful children, Shannon and Ethan, as well as their three dogs: Max, Chance, and Goliath. In her remaining spare time, she loves the outdoors, watching hockey, and pursuing her passion for photography.
