
Tiffany
Tiffany joined the team in February 2022, after being a client of Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center since 2009. From 2000-2017, she attended Drake University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Molecular Cell Biology, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Specialist Degree in Education with an emphasis in training and development, advanced leadership study, advanced research background, and advanced systems thinking.
During this time, she worked in a variety of managerial and teaching positions, such as Biology Lab Instructor, Biology Lab Coordinator, High School Science Teacher, and Training Coordinator. She also worked at Canine Craze and Puppy Jake Foundation as a Dog Trainer, giving her 9 years of dog training experience.
Tiffany lives in the Des Moines area with her husband, two kids, and three dogs. They enjoy spending time outdoors and being active as a family.

Kat
Kat joined Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center as a DMACC Veterinary Technology student for her summer internship in 2018. She had such a great learning experience that she officially joined as an employee that fall. Kat graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at DMACC in May of 2019 and became a Registered Vet Tech that August. She has since worked her way up to Lead Technician and Inventory Manager.
In her free time Kat enjoys watching The Green Bay Packers and spending quality time with her friends, family, and beloved dog, Maggie.

Andrea
Andrea was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. She always knew she wanted to work with animals. She obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from DMACC in 2013, as well as a AA in General Studies.
Before joining our team in April 2019, Andrea worked at a no-kill animal shelter for six years. She has a passion for animals of all types and ailments with some special needs pets of her own at home.
In Andrea’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying out new local restaurants and of course spending time with her own fur kids like Lollie, her precious pup.

Megan
Megan, a Beaverdale native, first joined IVWC’s team in 2014 while taking undergraduate courses. After traveling the world and completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Colorado, she made her way back home to IVWC.
Megan is currently at Iowa State’s College of Veterinary Medicine pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She is heavily involved with the Veterinary Business Management Association in her local chapter as well as serving as the National President.
To stay grounded, Megan enjoys reading and writing, staying active, and being an aunty.

Chris
Chris is our Chief Financial Officer, and he admires just how much the doctors and staff care deeply for their clients. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, their wonderful children Shannon and Ethan, and their five dogs!

Brianna
Brianna is living her dream life living in the country with her dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats. She has always had a passion for animals and is thrilled to be able to work at such an amazing clinic.
She graduated from the Vet Tech program at DMACC in May of 2022 and loves putting her knowledge to use by helping the animals that come here. She loves being able to come to work and be surrounded by her amazing coworkers (and of course the patients!).
On her days off, you will find Brianna working on her little farm, learning how to sew, and convincing her husband to rescue another animal.

Leiana
I live in the Des Moines area, and have been working with animals for the past few years. I joined IVWC to pursue my passion of caring for animals. I am currently enrolled in the Vet Tech program through Penn Foster.
In my free time, I love being outdoors: hiking, swimming, and camping with my two huskies. I also enjoy playing banjo, saxophone, and animal photography.

Stephanie
Stephanie started out in the emergency medical field getting her EMT and firefighter certifications from DMACC. She went on to obtain her Associates degree in Criminal Justice.
After six years of treating humans as an emergency medical technician, she decided to start in the animal field. Stephanie went onto training dogs through Canine Craze before joining the IVWC family.
In Stephanie’s free time, she likes to be outside, try new restaurants, and go on travel adventures with her husband and two dogs. She is constantly learning about the best practices for dogs with behavioral challenges and becoming Fear Free trained.

Nicole
Nicole is an aspiring Veterinarian, hoping to be involved with primarily large animal practice. With two kids, a fiancé, 2 cats and a new puppy, life is very busy but there is always time for animals! Nicole currently attends DMACC and will be moving on to Iowa State within the next few years with the hope of owning a clinic of her own one day.

Becky
Becky is a part-time RVT that joined Iowa Veterinary Wellness in the summer of 2022. She is a graduate of Madison Area Technical College in veterinary technology (2003) and a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a BAS in Agriculture business with a Veterinary Management emphasis (2021). She worked in a general practice clinic in Wisconsin for 15 years before switching into the education field where she currently is the laboratory coordinator for the Veterinary technician program at DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa.
Becky lives in Des Moines with her husband, one cat, and three rescued cavalier king charles spaniels. Outside of work, you may find Becky riding her bike, working out, doing a new project on their over 100-year-old home, or walking the cavalier herd.

Amy
Amy grew up in South Carolina and graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a B.A. in Government and History. She’s been married for 22 years and has a daughter in high school. Amy went back to school to become an Approved Veterinary Assistant through Penn Foster College and completed the program in January of 2023. Amy now has her long-awaited “dream job” at IVWC! Her animals are also family and currently serves several mini-house panthers at home in Ames.

Lexi
Lexi lives right here in Beaverdale with her significant other, Taylor, and all of their fur kids. They have 14 rescues, which include 7 dogs, 2 cats, 5 reptiles, and a potbelly pig. It never gets boring! Lexi is currently enrolled in a vet tech program through Penn Foster to pursue veterinary medicine and specialize in exotics.
Before coming to IVWC, Lexi worked in the mental health field for a couple of years and was in school for Psychology and Social work. Her passion has always been to help everyone (& animals) in any way she can.
In her free time outside of work, Lexi enjoys spending time outside with her fur kids, reading a good book, trying new foods, and traveling!
