
Tiffany, Administrative Assistant
Tiffany joined the team in February 2022, after being a client of IVWC since 2009. From 2000-2017, she attended Drake University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Molecular Cell Biology, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Specialist Degree in Education with an emphasis in training and development, advanced leadership study, advanced research background, and advanced systems thinking.
During this time, she worked in a variety of managerial and teaching positions, such as Biology Lab Instructor, Biology Lab Coordinator, High School Science Teacher, and Training Coordinator. She also worked at Canine Craze and Puppy Jake Foundation as a Dog Trainer.
Tiffany lives in the Des Moines area with her husband, two kids, and three dogs. They enjoy spending time outdoors and being active as a family.

Kat, Registered Veterinary Technician
Kat joined Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center as a DMACC Veterinary Technology student for her summer internship in 2018. She had such a great learning experience that she officially joined as an employee that fall. Kat graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at DMACC in May of 2019 and became a Registered Vet Tech that August. She has since worked her way up to Lead Technician and Inventory Manager. In her free time, Kat enjoys watching The Green Bay Packers and spending quality time with her friends, family, and beloved dog, Maggie.

Andrea, Registered Veterinary Technician
Andrea was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. She always knew she wanted to work with animals. She obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from DMACC in 2013, as well as a AA in General Studies. Before joining our team in April 2019, Andrea worked at a no-kill animal shelter. She has a passion for animals of all types and ailments with some special needs pets of her own at home. In Andrea’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying out new local restaurants and of course spending time with her own fur kids like Fransisco and Fiona!

Chris, Chief Financial Officer
Chris admires just how much the doctors and staff care deeply for their clients.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Kim Wilke, their wonderful children, Shannon and Ethan, and 3 dogs!

Leiana, Veterinary Assistant
Leiana has been working with animals for over 6 years. She joined IVWC to pursue her passion of caring for animals. She is currently enrolled in the Vet Tech program through Penn Foster, with hopes to work as a canine nutritionist or as a vet tech/care giver at a wolf sanctuary! In her free time, she loves taking trips to Idaho and Colorado with her two huskies and pitbull puppy. She also enjoys spending time with her family, playing Zelda, and animal photography!

Becky, Registered Veterinary Technician
Becky is a part-time RVT that joined Iowa Veterinary Wellness in the summer of 2022. She is a graduate of Madison Area Technical College in veterinary technology (2003) and a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a BAS in Agriculture business with a Veterinary Management emphasis (2021). She worked in a general practice clinic in Wisconsin for 15 years before switching into the education field where she currently is the laboratory coordinator for the Veterinary technician program at DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa.
Becky lives in Des Moines with her husband, one cat, and rescued cavalier king charles spaniels. Outside of work, you may find Becky riding her bike, working out, doing a new project on their over 100-year-old home, or walking the cavalier herd.

Lexi, Veterinary/Marketing Assistant
Lexi lives right here in Beaverdale with her partner and all their animals. Which includes, dogs, cats, reptiles, and a potbelly pig! Lexi has eduction in digital marketing and plays an active role in IVWC’ social media platforms. Before coming to IVWC, Lexi worked in the mental health field and is currently enrolled at Grandview University to pursue her BSW. Her passion has always been to help everyone (& animals) in any way she can. In her free time, Lexi enjoys spending time outside with her dogs, reading a good book, trying new foods, and traveling!

Kathryn, Veterinary Assistant
Kathryn is a feline enthusiast, born and raised in Des Moines. Her veterinary experience started by adopting out for the ARL through Coffee Cats, and then reception at our local veterinary E.R. Kathryn is currently a full-time veterinary assistant here at IVWC! When not at work, Kathryn spends her time working towards her RVT, watching movies with her family, and loving on her 5 cats.

Ashley, Veterinary Assistant
Ashley was born and raised in Washington but moved to Iowa in 2022. She now lives in Des Moines with her Fiance, daughter, their dog Lenny, and two cats. Ashley has a passion for animals, with a particular love for cats. She earned her veterinary assisting certificate from Sno-Isle Skills Center in 2015. With nine years of experience in emergency and surgery, she seized the chance to work in a regular practice. She is eager to expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, being outdoors, traveling, and browsing through Hobby Lobby for fun.

Lillian, Receptionist
Lilly was born and raised in Illinois. She is a full time lead client service specialist here at IVWC and loves what she does. Lilly is a people person as well as an animal lover, so finding the perfect middle at reception was just the right fit for her!
Lillian loves being a part of the IVWC team and seeing how everyone here truly cares about our patients. At home, Lilly has two cats!

Lynita, Receptionist
Lynita graduated in 89′ from from Snow College in Ephriam, Utah. After moving back to Iowa, Lynita worked at a local humane society until she made the move to her first pet hospital in 2000. After that career move, she realized that this was what she is meant to do. Lynita joined IVWC in 2012 and loves what she does! Lynita lives with her family in rural Iowa. They share their home with 3 lucky felines!

Morgan, Registered Veterinary Technician
Morgan graduated from the DMACC Veterinary Technician program in 2015 and has been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years now! Her favorite part of the job is being able to contribute to the patient(s) healing process. At home, Morgan is a mom of three and has two cats. She enjoys watching movies, traveling, and collecting tattoos.
