Dr. MacRae is a Beaverdale native, first joined IVWC’s team in 2014 while taking undergraduate courses. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Colorado State University and earned her DVM from Iowa State University. Dr. MacRae is very passionate about integrative medicine, utilizing both Eastern and Western medicine to support her patients overall well-being. Dr. MacRae is also completing her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist training through Chi University. After traveling the world, she has found her way back to her hometown, Des Moines, and home clinic, IVWC.
In her free time, Dr. MacRae enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family!
